• Yukon players Ted Stephens and  Jordan Lane set a team record with Moncton Wildcats in the QMJHL for best start to a season - see link.  

• Four Yukon players have helped Powell River Kings to first place in their division in the BCJHL (November 1st 2008) - Reid Campbell, Andrew Pettitt, Neil Chambers and Alex McDougall.

• Four Yukoners and ex Yukon Coach off to a fast start with the Creston Thundercats of the KIJHL. Coach Joe Martin and players Kane Dawe, Evan Campbell, Robbie Stuckie and Joe Densmore are all with Creston for the 2008/09 season.

• Three Yukon athletes are playing NCAA hockey for the 2008/2009 season:
  • Jared Tuton ( University of Alaska Anchorage)
  • Derek Klassen ( University of Alaska Fairbanks)
  • Adam Henderson ( Michigan State)
• Rob Warner is playing CIAU hockey for St Francis Xavier for the 2008/2009 season.

• Daniel Clethroe is playing in Heritage Junior Hockey League in Alberta for the 2008/ 2009 season.

• Burton Stephens,Owen MacKinnon and David Stephens are playing with the NE BC and Yukon Flyers in the Rural Alberta Midget League for the 2008/09 season.

• Bantam Hockey in Whitehorse - North West Territories are playing the Yukon Arctic Winter Games team Feb 15-17th, 2008. All games will be played at the Canada Winter Games Centre in Whitehorse. See schedule
